second-hand diamonds

I have a LOT of jewelry. A LOT. ALOT ALOT. Almost all of it is "costume" jewelry, plus some sterling silver and semi-precious gems...

Over the years I've tried 1,001 ways to sort, store, and display it, and I've never found a system that really works  for the sheer quantity of jewelry I have.

Here are some DIY ideas for storing any amount of jewelry less than a shitload. Most of them are of the "use what you have" variety, which is one of my favorite methods of doing just about anything.

A spray painted chocolates box
Cutlery tray
Old window frame
rake head
Coke bottles!
As much as I like them all, I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to give in and go with one of these:

Unless you have a better idea?

Let us not be too particular. It is better
to have old second-hand diamonds than none at all.
