discoveries every day

I pulled this sweet little gateleg table in from my "well stocked garage" (thanks to my sister for that optimistic label!) and put it at the back end of the entry hall. After moving the pew and chalkboard into the big space in the front end of the hall we needed a spot to drop keys and glasses and such, and this sunny spot seemed perfect...

I'm imagining a lamp, and a bowl/basket/tray to corral the detritus of the day. Plus whatever. What do you think?

The finish is good, but I'd still be willing to paint it. But what color? Robin's egg? Aqua? Mmmmm. I do love me some blue...

Check out these gorgeous entry halls/foyers - fabu-licious!

THIS LAST ONE ISN'T REALLY MY STYLE, BUT THE LIGHT IN THIS SPACE IS YUMMY!

very clever what they did with the parsons console table in the second image.
adding the nail heads did the trick.
i love the halls you have selected.
i especially like the hall with the fishing baskets hanging on the stair's banister.
my console pick is the one between the blue chairs.
xx thanks for your cool comment

My favorite is the one at the end with saffron coloured walls. Just my style -
