Attention, ark-builders: this may be a good time to get building.
In the meantime, there are always silver linings...

The best kind of rain, of course, is a cozy rain. This is the kind the anonymous medieval poet makes me remember, the rain that falls on a day when you'd just as soon stay in bed a little longer, write letters or read a good book by the fire, take early tea with hot scones and jam and look out the streaked window with complacency. ~Susan Allen Toth

you're like the eye-candy man.
I'm wishing for
1. a slow fire that perfumes the air with peat
2. an ancient leather bound copy of any Thomas Hardy
3. a much-loved teapot crazed from a million of cups of scalding tea
4. a mug the size of a soup bowl to allow for lots of cream and sugar
4. scones spread generously with clotted cream and rhubarb jam.
Oh, so while I am wishing for a gold piano, why not just say the obvious...all in a comfy chair in Scotland!
